A Day of Laughter

Happy Birthday Dr. May!!!




Today was the 65th birthday of one of the doctors I work for. He's such a good sport! That's an older picture I posted, but it just describes his personality! He's so fun loving and likes to have a good time at work and is always up for a laugh!

So of course, being the great and easy target he is and knowing how much fun he would have with it ( and us too of course) we had to have some fun with his birthday. So guess what I got him, a NERF dart gun!




Along with that he got paintbrushes, a gift card for art supplies, those Velcro paddle things with the balls, a slinky.....everything just fit his personality to a T! So a dart gun war was waged and no one was left un-shot. So our office manager decided that she needed retaliation. So the girls got to planning then she came to me and asked me to run to the party supply store for window chalk! So off to the store I go, I got window chalk, a sign with suction cups to put in his car window, and a Old Geezer Parking Pass (Like a handicap sticker you put on your rear-view mirror). SO on the way back I called his MA and told her to steal his car keys....she's darn good, by the time I got back she had effectively taken his car key off of his set of keys! So out the backdoor and down the elevator we go!! We used cardboard boxes with aluminum and made really big sideview mirrors, and then saran wrapped them to the car. We hung up the sign in the car that said BEWARE SUDDEN SENIOR MOMENTS! We wrote THE BOMB across the front windshield of his car...along with Hong for the birthday boy! One of the girls even drew a circle about where his head would be on his driver side window, and wrote I'm the Birthday BOy!

We had a blast at work it was awesome!




Chasity also had to make a trip to the dentist today, her permanent tooth is coming in behind her baby tooth that is just barely loose!



Not a great pic though! The dentist decided after alot of prodding and bribing by my mom for Chasity to open up her mouth, that it could wait a while before they pulled the baby tooth. He told her to keep wiggling it!

So being the great grandma my mother is decides that Chasity gets to go to Mickey D's to play in the Play Place and then took her and bought her new pajama's





I think Mamaw got took!!!!! lol

Then when I was looking at the pictures I took of her tonight I realized just how big my baby girl is getting!!!!






It's very hard to believe that this was just 2 1/2 years ago!!



Well now that I've walked down memory lane and bored you all to death I will say goodnight after a good day!!!!

Pizza Pizzza!

It was a late night at work so I decided tonight to let the kids make homemade pizza's!!! They totally love getting to make their own food!!! And they are pretty good about not making much of a mess! And it also gives us something to do together when we are short on time and I'm tired!





A few sprinkles of cheese on the floor by Aaron was not to shabby!!!! I think I need to come up with more things for the kids to do to help with dinner, because I'm tired of pizza!!!!





Of course chaos reigned the house while we were waiting for the pizza's to get done! So I decided tonight was dress up night, for a special project I have in mind! So they got all dressed up and we took some pictures!! Those I will save for a later post.





So after all that fun I'm about pooped out and for this night owl 10:30 is pretty early to be going to bed! SO I'm just waiting on Aaron to finish up his pretzel snack....and then I'm off to cuddle with James....well until a child ends up in our bed!

A Lazy Sunday......

So I slept in late this morning, because Aaron stayed the night with Granny and Paw paw, and as usual the girls at are at my parents house. James went to get Aaron as soon as I woke up though because I missed him. Lots of good it did though because Aaron feels the need to be outside with Daddy cutting the grass and doing yard work! That's a boy for ya! Can't get no mommy love!

Well I did steal a little before he went outside, we wrestled and talked about what he wanted for his birthday, yeah I know it's in September but it will be here before we know it!


He's decided he wants a Big Dump truck, bulldozer, roller, a crane, and a fork lift!!!! He also wants a nerf light beam dart gun (which I'm sure will be used for hours of terrorizing his sisters!), he wants this Fisher Price baseball set, and a soccer ball.



I guess it's time to get in the shower, I need to run to Target and get the rest of the girls school supplies, only 15 days to go! And then James is taking us to Ernesto's tonight!!! Woot!!


So I finally did get in the shower, and then James decided for me to wait for him and we'd just go eat after leaving Target....So Aaron wanted get in a bit of a blog

He LOVES that thing, did you notice his cool hair though!! He's hilarious when he takes a shower, yes I said shower, this boy does not like baths! He is all about showers. So he will get out wrap up in a towel, get out his step stool, get his comb and brush (yes I said comb and brush) and fix his hair! And he asks us all the time to get him ginger ale (hair gel) to put on his hair!! It's so funny! Then he has to go throw on his kicks with no socks and his jean shorts and t-shirt....always with boxers or boxer briefs underneath, this boy is not a tighty whitey kid! lol He cracks me up...I see so much of James in him it's not even funny!

So anyway, we went to Target, I spent $150, yikes. But I did get the rest of the girls school supplies including their lunch boxes, and I bought a bunch of new bath towels, and James got a cooler and some other odds and ends...

Then we went to Ernesto's for some yummy Mexican food! I was stuffed, Mexican is my all time favorite food! They have awesome chips and salsa there too!

Well what started out being a lazy Sunday really turned into more! lol I've actually accomplished a lot today. Aaron's now tucked into bed and I'm sitting here watching Cribs with James about ready to head to bed myself, but need to do another load of laundry first.
